Preparations are under way for Boite’s 29th Singers’ Festival, January 11-13, 2019, and we are looking for fresh, new workshops to run at it.

The Boite Singers’ Festival comprises 3 days of workshops and concerts held yearly on the second weekend of January since 1990, catering for singers of all levels and abilities. It has been held at the beautiful and acoustically magnificent spaces of the Abbotsford Convent since 2017. The festival provides an opportunity to learn and share, reconnect with friends and make new ones, all through the power of song. The concerts held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are usually a showcase of the artists involved in the festival and often include the workshop participants, making them an unforgettable experience for singers and audiences alike.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for facilitators willing to deliver a workshop during the festival. Workshops are 90 minutes and can be new repertoire, improvisation, technique development, songwriting or anything connected to singing. Diversity (of all kinds) is hallmark to The Boite and we always ensure the program at the Singers’ Festival reflects it. The Festival caters for professional as well as amateur singers of a wide range of abilities. We are seeking workshops suitable to all skill levels.

Expressions of interest are now closed. Thank you all who submitted one. We are working on the program and will be in touch very soon.
